20.6.08 - LACK OF UPDATES: Apologies for the lack of updates, but work and real life has kept me pretty busy and apart
from our boys being on tour right now supporting Shannon, there hasn't been much else to report. However, I do have this bit of news today - you can now buy the video
for "Don't You Know Who I Am?" on iTunes for $3.39. After so long of just having "Innocent" up, it's awesome to see them adding the video for their latest single. Here's
hoping "Sorry" will be along soon enough!
1.6.08 - NEW ARTICLE & ARIA CHART RESULTS: We have a new article for you today, thanks to Karen.

In other news, the ARIA Chart results came down today and sadly, Beautiful Hum did not gain a position inside the Top 50 Albums. However, the album is out and you
can still support the guys by making sure you're telling everyone about this album and making people get interested and get involved.
30.5.08 - ALBUM LAUNCH POSTPONED: Bad news, QLD fans - due to the bad weather in Brisbane tomorrow,
the launch of Beautiful Hum in Queen Street Mall has been postponed to a date yet to be announced. However, the guys have said that Brisbane JB Hi Fi
has 100 signed copies of the album, so if you get down there early, you may score yourself one! :) Obviously, this is disappointing, but the weather
is beyond anyone's control and I'm sure the wait will be more than worth it for the new date.
In happier news, Steve and Danny made a very early morning appearance on Triple M Brisbane earlier this week, where they performed acoustic versions of
"Don't You Know Who I Am?" and "Innocent". Click here
to check them out, as well as the Triple M exclusive video blog from Small Mercies' trip to the states! Seems like our boys got up to some mischief while
they were over there. :)
28.5.08 - NEW LYRICS: Lyrics have been added for the Beautiful Hum iTunes bonus
track, "Hang On", as well as for the older versions of "Save Me" and "Hang On" and "Laughing On The Inside" (bonus iTunes track for the "Innocent" single).
In other news, Small Mercies HQ is looking for eager and willing fans ready to spread the word about the band and support them at their gigs by handing out mailing list
cards on their forthcoming tour supporting Shannon Noll. If you're interested, head on over to the official SM MySpace
and send the guys a message. And while you're there, why not add them as a friend and subscribe to their blogs, if you haven't already. :) And to sweeten the deal, for helping

25.5.08 - BEAUTIFUL HUM ON ITUNES: The album has only been available for a day and it's already
moving up the iTunes Album charts. It's currently sitting at #16 on the Top Rock Albums and at #91 on the Overall Albums! For an album that's only been
available for just over 24 hours, it's doing pretty damn well. Let's see if we can continue that momentum - if you haven't bought the album yet, make sure
you do THIS WEEK (or even better, RIGHT NOW :P). You definitely will not regret it. :)
In other news, the first of the things I mentioned yesterday is now up on the site to your left hand side. I've added Small Mercies Radio, which is a built-in
Javascript application that allows you to listen to Small Mercies as you're browsing the main page of the site. It currently has all the tracks from Beautiful Hum
available, so give it a go and let me know what you think! FYI, you aren't able to download the tracks, as they are in a special file format for Radio.Blog. So if
you like what you hear, make sure you BUY THE ALBUM. :D
24.5.08 - BEAUTIFUL HUM IS OUT TODAY: Time to celebrate, guys! The debut album from Small Mercies, "Beautiful Hum",
is officially released TODAY. Head on down and grab 1 or 2 or 20 copies of it if you like; just make sure you grab a copy and support Steve, Jeff, Danny and Marty,
who have worked incredibly hard to bring us this amazing album. Also remember that any purchases of the album from today onwards now count towards the ARIA Charts, and
the first week of release is the best time to grab a copy, so make sure you get your copy THIS WEEK. :) Also, if you purchase your copy online from iTunes, you will
also receive a bonus track, "Hang On"! So there's an added incentive right there. :)
If you've got your copy and wanna congratulate the guys on a job well done, head on over to their official forum and post a note
in this thread. :)
For Queenslanders, next Saturday is going to be an extremely fun day for you all, as Small Mercies launch "Beautiful Hum" live in the Queen Street Mall from 8pm. Head on
down and join in! I've also heard that similar events are scheduled for Melbourne and Sydney, so to fans in those areas, stay tuned!
In the meantime, I've got a couple of things planned to celebrate the album's release that will be added to the site soon, so keep watching this space!
